Doroteo,

Thank you so much for explaining your perspective and experiences in regards to trading. It provides a framework for conducting further discussions. I employ a variety of technical methods, including momentum indicators, emas/smas, support and resistance levels, bollinger bands. P&F is a recent addition, mostly to determine the risk context for hedging or doubling up on positions.

Fundamentals and market sentiment and dynamics play a major role in determining which sector and stocks are candidates for the initiation of positions. I use historical supports/resistances and relative valuations and future outlook in determining proper investment entry points; technical analysis is utilized for initiation of positional trades; and I rely on price volume and tape action for very short-term trades.

Investing, positional trades, flipping or just gambling ... I post a bit on all this and long-time readers of my posts know the difference, I hope.

One more thing ... the technical aspects of investing/trading seem far easier to refine and master than the psychological aspects.
