Did a cursory check of inventory balances at Ingram, was curious about
Ls-120 inventory

Drives- number of Superdisk drives in stock 0
Drives- number of Zip drives in stock 55372

Media- Imation Ls 120 disks in stock 3595- 10 pks
Media- number of Zip disks in stock 26636- 10 pks

Unless Imation can gain a respectable retail presents they can kiss
it goodby. The assessment of their success can be measured
by the presents of their media, if the demand was there we would
see mounds of the stuff laying around in the major retailers.

Regards
Reseller

Ron, that's great news. I think Zip won the war for the hearts and minds of computer sophisticates a long time ago, though.

IOM needs momentum in the $799 - $1,500 area. Without this, the OEM model is a flop - there is no growth. Right now, Imation is the dominant presence on store shelves. Undeniable. Inexcusable.
