I don't believe I noted my exact suspicions but posted here, last Summer I think it was, about unusual PLA activity among the Hmongs. I remain, still, with just my suspicions.

AIDS: They've begun human-testing in Thailand of a vaccine.

Also recall an investment report in 1993 that predicted HIV-related infection would have a profound effect in coming years on the Thai labor market.

Serious stuff. I wonder whether retroviruses are capable of mutating to airborne transmission? Seems this one mutates in every other diabolical way imaginable, and quickly.

NARCOTICS: Much like the "avalanche" mode of some solid-state components, I've felt that after some point in the financial boom narcotics abuse may have accelerated here in the U.S.
