Being the exclusive owner of the content on the pipes is = control of the pipes. That's all that counts in my book. I think it is clear that AOL has lost in every argument in regards to opening the pipes, splitting the fees etc etc and will continue to do so. Capitalism at its best - ATHM is spending the money, providing the tech and they have the right to profit from it. I dont see any Court in the country that will say otherwise.

In the end AOL will cut a deal and I believe that deal will include revenue sharing in addition to ATHM's $40 per month fee.
