Short Squeeze Post from Yahoo board

"...I bought SHRP on a tip without really doing my homework. Tonight I did some DD and I like what I see!

Go here weekdaytrader.com and select the link "Find out latest Short Interest on Nasdaq Stocks", and you'll find an explanation that says a Short as a percent of float > 25% and a Short Ratio (to avg. daily volume) of > 10, is an indication of a potential short squeeze. As Yoda pointed out, our Short as a pct of float is nearing 50%!! The Short Ratio is 77!!! You can also check the short information at the above mentioned site by entering the SHRP ticker.

You can verify the float and short position data on the Profile page off the Yahoo links for SHRP.

This has short squeeze written all over it!!!!!!

Further, take a look at a 3 or 6 month chart for SHRP. You can't use the Yahoo chart because it doesn't reflect the latest data yet. The low end range for today seems to have broken the trend line, to the positive. This is typically another sign that the advance will march on..."

Check www.marketguide.com. It may not have Dicky's January sales yet which were 218,000 shares but add up last 12 months numbers.

Interesting point re: 70% of internet purchasers were new customers in Q4 98. Also some comment on seasonality, similar to what Marie has said.
