MHMY - I would be very impressed if Meyerson and company actually managed to orchestrate a short squeeze at this point. But surely filing 144s is not the logical step to take if this is what they were planning. Morgenstern writes that executives place their shares in a margin account to prepare for the squeeze - they don't offer them for sale. I've never heard of 144s signaling buy-ins.
