Can you turn a profit on the turn of the millennium?

<< For some, the financial strategy for the looming Millennium Bug is simple: Sell your assets, load up on gold and head for the hills.

Many might find that approach a bit drastic. But the so-called Year 2000 computer problem has put investors, brokers and money managers on alert, and some are rethinking their portfolios in anticipation. -- cont'd -- >>

THAT WAS GREAT, John! FWIW, that writer is not the only one who is leaving the scene B4TSHTF.

FWIW:
I started dismantling my website last night. I have about 25 copies of my book left. When those last 25 copiesare sold, it will mark the end of TSP's phenomenal success: the 5th soldout print-run since I was first published 10 years ago.)

Then I'll pull the rest of my very successful website.

My TEOTWAWKI plans do not include educating any more people about how to take care of themselves or each other. I'll be in full survival mode, keeping my SI connection as long as the computer still kicks in
from my remote location via my wireless tele.

AlanGreenSpandex isn't the only fly in the ointment...we've got a president with a fly problem also. Oh, and obviously the predominately male US Senate has lotsa FLAPPING FLY stories of their own. I'm still kicking myself for being so idealistic that I thought they'd actually convict the Chief Enforcement Officer of the US of perjury.

Oh, and those that'll vote for Hillary, that is just another wasted vote. Why in the world would NY want to dirty up their landscape when Gulliani has done such an incredible job?

Yep, the world IS crazy, and I share your sense of humor, John
