Bill, is it possible that as you get older you become more aware of the precariousness and value of life, and have maybe become a bit of a softie about it? It would explain why you didn't want to pull the trigger this year, anyway. That would be fine with me--even though I occasionally eat meat I think hunting glorifies a lot of pretty generally negative impulses. Like why do we have the right to kill animals and fish, just because we can? Wouldn't it be more evolved to treat wildlife with dignity and respect? Oh, never mind, just musing . . .
