Large article in today's San Jose Mercury News Business section "US 'at risk' from Y2K". It starts on the first page. This is based on the Senate report "Everyone will be affected in some way."

I watched the Y2K piece on CNN last night. Senator Chris Dodd of Connecticut was interviewed about the report the Senate is about to release regarding Y2K. Very sobering and well grounded. In fact, as I write this note CNN Business Day is running another piece this morning, saying they will have all day coverage as the Senate report on Y2K is released today.

I am coming to believe that we could see a Y2K stock run-up as we hit the panicky stage, (which seems to be beginning).
