Top World News Fri, 26 Feb 1999, 7:13am EST Hong Kong's Tsang to Announce Plans for Disney Park Next Week, Apple Says Hong Kong, Feb. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Donald Tsang, Hong Kong's financial secretary, will announce a plan by Walt Disney Co. of the U.S. to build a HK$50 billion ($6.5 billion) theme park in Hong Kong next week in his budget speech, the Apple Daily newspaper reported, citing unnamed sources. The park, which would cover 170 hectares in the Chuk Kok Wan area of the city's Lantau Island, will be completed as early as 2005.
