Microsoft provides daily transcripts here:
microsoft.com

For direct testimony and briefs:
usdoj.gov
or microsoft.com

Both sites include exhibits. The Microsoft site also includes some of the most artful PR flak ever seen in dealing with "bad" days in court. If you need a rosy view of things, ignore all news reports and read their summaries.

Does the spate of Linux shipments bolster Microsoft's defense? Sure. Microsoft claims that it's a constantly shifting market with low barriers to entry. They would argue that IBM's shipment of Linux is another sign that MS might lose the OS market any day now.

The government would respond much like many of the posters on this board by pointing out that high barriers including network effects work against Linux as a desktop competitor and by pointing out that all the companies shipping Linux are putting it on machines configured as servers, that the machines are not being sold into the desktop OS market in which DOJ claims MS holds the monopoly. They might also argue that Microsoft loosened the requirements of its OEM licenses in response to DOJ pressure, but used the more restrictive licenses during the time at issue in the trial.
