Odd press release, don't you think? Usually when a company announces the appointment of new officers, the officers' previously held positions are specified in order to give the reader a sense of who these people are and to add credibility to the company's selections. In this case, NPEC merely stated that the new President, Mr. Lazo, has owned "several companies." What companies? What type of business? How large? What happened to those companies? What are Mr. Lazo's educational and other accomplishments? Regarding the new Vice President, Mr. Bonham, the PR mentioned that he has been "active in gold recovery" in several states. Yes, but for which companies did he work? What positions did he hold? He is Chairman of Mystery Gold? What is that? Private company? Trade organization? Mysterious.

I would like to give NPEC the benefit of the doubt and imagine that they had some strategic reason for releasing such a vague PR, but I cannot imagine what such a reason might be. Can anyone else? Dr. Meade? If the appointment of new officers is related to an upcoming acquisition, why not combine the information? Anyone?
