We must gather together to honor the dearly departed:
dailynews.yahoo.com
Believe I got the paper MBZ chassis back, now need an engine. Do they cost much ?(G)
Stopped at R.S. in Azle, bgt Satellite TV antenna plus a $99 TV antenna on sale for $49, with $30 off on the combo. Good deal.
The CPQ kiosks, with three tables holding the display models,
plus the signs and the storage areas did not look cheap and would be required for the 6000 stores. Its an added expense which Dell does not have. I worry less about Cpq competition each day.

Mohan;

This( storage technology ) is real exciting stuff here. I think that any online/eTail venture Dell attempts will pale in comparison to a well executed advance into the network data storage world. I doubt EMC is shaking in its boots quite yet, but they do know they've had the buffet to themselves for too long. This could prove to be just the type of challenge that motivates Dell to the point of excellence.

Regards,
JT

Thanks for the info. Since I own DELL and EMC, I don't think I can go wrong over the long term. Glad to see DELL will look to excel even more.

>>Dell became one of the few companies to ship products needed to build so-called storage-area networks.<<

But I thought Dell was dead?!
