Gersh,

In trading the OEX, I usually wait until 1000 or so to take out some of the opening volatility and gaps. Seeing how far the opening rise or fall to the first support or resistance level helps me to gauge which options are possibly the best to enter in terms of movement. 1200 is another good time for a possible flip with the lunchtime crowd. 1430-1600 another good time to buy or sell premium. Not looking to hold too much overnight unless hedged in a spread. Greenspeak yesterday I thought should have sold off the market with comments about equity valuations, but then again you could have done well by longing my shorts over the last 2 months. Lots of premium in the OEX makes it a better opportunity for me now instead of trying to pick individual stocks.

Good Trading

Dave
