Hi Carole! Check with your financial institution, but I thought that withdrawals had to fall in the calender year that they are being deducted from.

Margie

(Mind you, I have quite a ways to go before I have to think about withdrawing, I'm waiting for my husband's profit sharing cheque to arrive today so I can put it IN!!!)

Off Topic. Carole, believe you are right - when you contribute you can choose either 1998 or 1999 for the first two months of the year. Please post when you are 100% sure as I see we are not all in the know. This feature of our tax system can be used to our advantage.
