>>The problem with your Mike Tyson analogy is that Mike Tyson is not as
cunning and as smart as Bill Clinton and he cannnot use law enforcement
resources to further his need for immature and possibly criminal
behavior in persuit of sex. Which one of these two people is more
dangerous to civil society?<<

Mary,

Actually this is a great analogy......I wonder if those Dems in the Senate will start looking as daft as the guys on the Nevada licensing board that gave ole Mikey a pass......Doesn't he have a disciplinary hearing today for tossing a TV at a security guard? Hmmm, I really do think we can draw some interesting parallels between Mike Tyson and Bill Clinton.

But what does that have to do with Bill Clinton and his behavior? Because there are people that break the law and act in thugish manner, does that allow Clinton to do anything he wants?

You are correct Clinton (if he is guilty), Tyson, or any other criminal should not be used by the right or left to make a political statement. Thats why I say, if you want Clinton, go after him when he is out of office - that would be fine by me. Arrest him and lock him up if you want. But don't use his behavior as some sort of advertisement for why we need 1)Prayer in school, 2)"Family Wages" where we pay male breadwinners more than they are worth deliberately as a form of social engineering, 3)Elimination of fine art accessibility to the public because there are nude people depicted, 4)Tax reform where we essentially "pay" people to do what some religious zealots in congress want - stay at hom moms and the like, 5)Elimination of any medical research and medicine that touches on religious doctrine (RU486 is the best example of this), etc. etc. etc.

Clinton will be out of office in a year so you won't have long to wait. My primary goal is not to protect Clinton, but to save myself from the religious zealotry of the right which has embraced this issue. I suspect most Clinton supporters feel the same way.
