I haven't been present at altercations involving pentagrams, or even public smooching. In fact, I have seen public smooching, and people in the vicinity have always tried to ignore it. Of course, since I am not omniscient, I have no idea if the people who declined to interfere were Evangelicals, or if Evangelicals would have acted differently had they been present. I am a little confused, however, since I did not think that eroticism constituted a religion. Also, the attempt to perform a full- blown Wiccan ritual at a public gathering would be analogous to forcing everyone to sit through Mass, which I would also object to, so I don't think your examples are particularly pertinent.
