LarryL; I agree with you on the average consumer not being educated as to where G* reaches. I have found that the majority of cell users have no idea where their current phones reach. I live on the east coast of Florida and you would be surprised at the number of people who take their phones offshore, fully expecting them to work as seemlessly as they do driving down A1A. The best compliment a technology can be paid is for the user not to think about it. A bunch of pager subscribers had a rude awakening last summer and where forced to think about the technology! The service providers who have a vested interest to push G* will do so and on a level their customers can understand. They know them pretty well. That is one of the difficulties I* faces - the economy of scale in advertising to so many distinct groups. You might be all things to a phone user but you have to get the message out - and can you do that with a limited number of message variations? I think there is a larger portion of potential Iriduim users who will be missed in the advertising sweep than the G* potential user. All things being equal, I would prefer I*. But all things are not equal, that is what makes all this fun: pile up the pros and cons and make your bet. (Oh and by the way, the best may not win cause there are factors involved which dont get advance visibility and which dont depend on logic! Fun stuff this investing!) Jeff Vayda
