Negative article on MTEX in WSJ Texas Journal.

I don't have WSJ Interactive, so can't post a link. Let me know if you want me to fax a copy.

Someone PIM's me about how Tabler had gotten 14 15/16 on Barfly while someone mentioned they got 14 1/8...
its pretty simple...the quality of a fill, a price only has meaning relative to the exact moment that an order is placed...while someones post on SI might have come 10 minutes or consecutively next to a prior one, doesnt mean that the orders werent 2 , 10, 50 minutes apart, and it also doesnt mean that 1 minute apart might not make the difference in a dollar...when this thing opened, it flew and then tanked.
anyway, there are some good pieces on the Trading Desk thread , as well as some pieces put up here last week about working orders, etc. and what goes into a quality fill.

Later!
