Gerald: it is a futile spin approach to attempt to place my contempt for MSFT's software quality at the doorsteps of MSFT hatred. I do not appreciate my time being wasted, it is unproductive and wastes money, MSFT has wasted my time on "their bug problems" more times than I need to mention. Thank God for my liberation via Linux. If they'll produce quality my contempt will pass and I'll gladly purchase their products (if and only if their upgrades are truly of consumer value and not stock market quarterly profit props). But, MSFT will have to change its philosophy for this quality transition to occur, namely, stop the BS and spin and start addressing where the rubber meets the road. Based on the antitrust trial debacles exhibited by MSFt, I highly doubt whether this will really occur in the near future. In other words, their public rhetoric mirrors their approach to business and product and as long as their public relations continues to be taylored to consumer ignorance, I'll continue to be hesitant in the use of any their products. Their business practices were needed when they were small but they certainly are not appropriate nor beneficial to them when they are a monopoly.
