Follow-up to previous post:

I didn't state it explicitly in the previous post, so I will do so here. The only thing that WK is working on with any depth is Microsoft Excite. Of course this has many facets, such as producing low datarate clients for many different operating systems, but in some sense it is a one product company. I'd love to see their marketing data (how many projected salesmen, ...). It is a lot more obvious now why Microsoft was so interested.

Did you happen to ask any questions about the speech recognition end of things. I have been following GMGC for quite a while. They are in on the WK deal as a premium service. They have a large vocabulary VUI which runs on top of Portico, a system very similar to Revolv. They run this out of a NOC center in Sunnyvale. Have been doing this since July 1998.
