So I had some time today to look at the "new" Vantive website. What's with this "e-customer" crap? What's an "e-customer" any way? I did a website search for that phrase and came up with exactly zero hits. Finally found something on the "What's new" link about e-customers, but I still don't know what an e-customer is. And how an e-customer differs from a non-e-customer. And why Vantive products are better suited to this class of customer.

Farber, is this the brilliant new Vantive marketing strategy? Sorry to say, the Siebel sales.com announcement beats this. At least I can understand it.

Agree with the risk on the downside to about 7/8 and the upside maybe capped around low 20's for '99. After my humble pie on it I try to make money with that range. If I am not mistaken that range just about describes CLFY for '98. RMDY range quite similar.
