Art freerealtime: Glad to hear I'm not the only one. I have used quote.com but it sometimes slows my machine down. Fortunately my broker has free quotes so I have a back up running all the time. Buddy

Art: I often use Thomson. rtq.thomsoninvest.net Have to register, it is free, but you can only get 1 quote at a time....and they limit you to 100/day I think. It used to be 50. Tj

ArtAlley I've heard that Raging Bull has real time quotes, but I've never used it. I couldn't get into freerealtime yesterday, but today it's working well for me. Laurie

The other sites for unlimited free real time quotes are: wallstreetcity.com etrade.com and a newcomer freereal-timequote.com These sites (after you register with them) will give you RT quotes one-at-a-time. Here are some RT sources that are pretty reliable, fast and do many-at-a-time quotes: Datek - www.datek.com - free unlimited RT quotes for customers. $2000 to trade but no minimum to get quotes. E*Trade - gives you free multiple unlimited RT quotes if you trade more than a certain # of trades (8?) in a quarter. Other customers get one-at-a-time RT quotes for free. PCQuote Marketsmart - www.pcquote.com - you have to pay the exchange fees (~$14/month)+$9 for fast source of RT quotes If you use the above sources (or another RT source on the Web) - download Medved QuoteTracker medved.net Medved QuoteTracker is a free Win95/NT program that uses Web real time data sources - both free and subscription - to track users' portfolios, plot realtime intraday charts, give stock price alerts, track major indices, show historical data charts etc.
