I'm glad that ATHM looks prosperous

It's very important that the XCIT deal
does not fall apart due to loss of ATHM
share price. The XCIT deal going thru
helps inspire current valuations on many
other Web Properties like LCOS. Davis
did a raw deal, but I think LCOS is still
worth considerably more based on the
ATHM/XCIT valuation then it's current
trading range would suggest.

as for AOL being over priced, I'm afraid
you are incorrect. Most analysts who use
Cable Companies formula's in terms of cost
and cash flow per subscriber will tell you
that AOL is grossly Undervalued when compared
to other ISPs. Even more compelling, is that
AOL is not just an ISP, but a value added
content, and premium marketing penetration
provider, which only increases it's value.
As they move into South America, Asia, and
Europe, this force will only continue to grow.
The fact that AOL already represents a Third
of the N.American Online community is quite
an achievement given that the entrance into
the ISP business can be done by just about
anyone with a few computers, phone lines and
plenty of Jolt Cola.

I went to ATHM's current site on Broadway by the side of 101. The building is next to Excite and doesn't look too impressive. I also saw the second building that is being erected. I am now sure if you mean the same site? Or a totally new site I am not aware of.
