Since none of the TA specialists are responding, let me take a stab: The pending ERICY deal may swamp technical factors. The recent strength is in response to this, at least partially, in anticipation of a favorable deal. The price may move sharply when the deal is announced. If no deal is announced, the stock may stall.

As I understand it in TA terms, therefore, the news may set off a large technical signal. Or, lack of news will eventually lead to other technical signals.

Hmm--all of which sounds suspiciously like, "It may go up, and it may go down."

Best,
JS
