ztect: Keep in mind that Veronex's product (I|Nova) is not specifically designed to be a Y2K remediation product. It is meant to replace all existing source code applications with a "table-driven" control mechanism. I went into a little detail in my evaluation.

The product CAN be used in a Y2K remediation, but its primary purpose is simplified maintenance and enhancement. Comparing I|Nova to pure Y2K tools is an unwise investment of time. The pure Y2K tools will have streamlined the processes and directed functionality towards the end purpose of remediating code. I|Nova, if fully implemented, would replace all that code with Y2K compliant code. Of course, the time frame to do that would necessarily be greater than just fixing the code in the "usual" way. I|Nova does have the "usual" mode, but its not the primary focus of the product.
