Looks at Sharp's offering. You might also want to avoid having the decoder built in to the TV. Look for an HDTV set with an external decoder solution.
Perhaps a bit more pricey, but in the long run it will be cheaper to upgrade when you discover you need to upgrade the decoder portion.
Problem today is that there is no standard interface from one companies decoder to another companies glass/screen.
