This article summarizes my thoughts on MSFT's past and future perfectly!

Just can't resist, can you Toy?

Boy, I would not want to waste my life hating other people and envying them their success!

Mr. Katz job is to attract Silicon Valley eyeballs and since you're posting his article, I suppose he can claim success. I hope, however, that you are carefully considering the source before using such as the basis for MSFT investment decisions. If you check the editorial archives of Silicon Valley based publications from 5 years ago you will see exactly the same sort of "MSFT is dead" arguments. The price of MSFT shares at the time was about $10.
