1. The price of gold is a good inflation indicator.

2. He is confidant that gold holding institutions do not manipulate the price.

Here's a trivia question for you. When was the last
time the broadest monetary measure (MZM) was expanding
at the current rate of 12+ %?

...More liquid and more liquid, just when it's
not needed, and he is moaning about the over valued
prices of stocks, to cover his ass for when he has
to check the flow of liquid. I guess his LTCM buddys
haven't unwound enough of their positions yet.
