BKS - Lost nearly 7 points in last two days.....put it on your list IMO. I still LOVE this company going forward. Not so much for the short term, but as long intermediate to true long term play.

Watching.....

Number of shares? Doesn't matter, really.

I post the number of shares because I thought it was part of the informal rules of the group. My opinion is to leave it to individual tastes whether to post or not.

In that vein, my personal opinion is that I like to see the number of shares someone traded, purely as an indication of how strongly they feel about a particular issue.

Trader J,

The same for me than Canuck Dave. I like to see the numbers of shares.

TJ, I read your thread daily and always make note of your trades. I appreciate and admire the fact that you post your trades but I have never once found myself wondering how many shares are involved in each trade. If you wish to include share amounts with your trades I would think that would have to be entirely up to you. You made a post yesterday about honesty and integrity. I must say that you fit the bill perfectly......you most definitely practice what you preach. Thanks for all your help and allowing me to lurk here.

TJ...number of shares

Since these threads are wide open I think it
prudent to leave the size out...less likely to
become a target of folks wanting to go the other
way...

PRGY...be careful..up on IBM 7% stake according
to CNBC...this is not a new position...remember
Prodigy was a JV between IBM/S...this 7% is
left over from then...

Trader J - # of shares

I like seeing the # of shares on your posts. I would not want to see a hundred different people posting all their trades, but this is your thread and your moves are instructive for many people.

Thanks.

TJ

I would kinda be interested in seeing how many shares you trade. Sometimes that can indicate how much confidence someone has in the stocks they are trading.

TJ - Posting share count - I vote that you don't post quantity. It could unduly influence undecided investors, newbies, and the weak of mind.

What would be more instructive would be to indicate percentage of overall portfolio and percentage of trading portfolio, thereby reminding investors not to bet the whole farm.
