My first post since joining SI. My post #673 on RB (as Grumpygramp) gives company's estimate of $2 to $3 million in sales for 1988, with gross margin estimated between 30 and 40%. But, what about net? I didn't ask and it wasn't volunteered, but IF net income was 10% or 15% of sales, for instance, using est. sales of $2,500,000; and outstanding shares were 2,049,000 ( http:\\www.pcquote.com ); net would be about 12 to 18 cents per share for 1988.

There are a lot of assumptions in there but I would not be surprised if I was pretty close. If so, we are at mighty low multiples, IMO, and without even considering what the future will bring. I am long and holding. Thanks to all for sharing their additional info.

It is such a pleasure to read the good posts here. I can't believe I was so slow in escaping the verbal fights and profanity elsewhere, and I don't mean RB.

Jim,
Hey thanks for the quick responses. During the day at work, I always keep SI open on the computer and check it between work issues. you da man. Well, I would like there to be more interest on the board (tonight has been very slow.)

To all alfn investors. ALFN has incredible possibilities! Yes, we need to take it slow. A slow gain to 2 or 3 ultimately is better than a quick jump. Thanks to everyone on your help!!
