According to Paratech Vice President Rocco Passafuime, the contract calls for Paratech to provide this national not-for-profit organization with a full-service maintenance and support program for all of its server platforms (SCO, SUN, Novell and NT), desktops and peripheral devices. In addition, Paratech will provide AFB with extensive help desk support via a toll free number, accessible 8-hours/day, 5-days/week for first level telephone and on-site repair services and accessible 24-hours/day, 7-days/week for applications support including Windows 95, Excel, Eudora E-Mail, Corel Suite, and Internet Explorer. Technical Help Desk support will be accessible from 9AM to 5 PM in each of the time zones for users in New York, NY; Washington D.C.; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX and San Francisco, CA. The contract also includes local area network/wide area network (LAN/WAN) support services utilizing as well as an on-site senior system engineer several days per week, and also special project services.
