Again, one of the biggest keys to daytrading is to have more than one account.

That works for the 'buy' side. But what about the 'sell' side? If you hold stock AAA at E-Trade, you still can't sell it through Datek when E-Trade is down.

Or can you?...Can E-Trade deliver AAA to Datek in time to make the 3-day settlement deadline? I'd seriously doubt it.
