Not much comparison between Celebrex and Synvisc. Synvisc is an injectable for arthritis of the knees. Celebrex is an oral agent for arthritis in any joint.It will mostly be utilized by specialists. Rheumatology more than Orthopedics. I'm sure that Synvisc will have its niche. Results are variable and doesn't appear to last more than 1 year. Good choice to delay that knee replacement or if a patient is not a candidate for surgery due to multiple medical problems.
