I noticed that 3 software stocks I follow PSQL, CA and SAP finshed in the plus column today. My uninformed theory was that after ORCL CA and then SAP collapsed (because of the YK2 issue you mentioned) stocks like PSQL were surviving, albeit at reduced valuations, because ERP growth will be in the medium sized companies. Now that PSQL has headed down to join the others as they head up, we may be at the turning point you spoke of. Your words went to my head and I doubled up my holdings in PSQL in the last minute of trading. PSQL had given up much of its gains for the day but still finished in the plus column, which was quite an achievement in this market given PSQL delicate constitution lately. I hope my buy is not another case of hogs getting slaughered.
