(A)merican, (C)hicago, (P)acific and Philadelphia aka PHL(X). Those are quotes on the individual exchanges as opposed to the composite you see without the suffix. BTW, the PHLX web site provides more information (delta, etc.) and is much quicker than CBOE's. However, it only provides composite quotes rather than quotes from each exchange. Its URL is phlx.com. There's a button in the middle of that page to get to the option chain listings.
