Marc there is also a chance that THQ had already entered into discussions with Titan and JAKK's and decided not to publicly disclose the ECW license unless these (WWF) talks fell through. In other words, THQ would have only used ECW as a trump card in the event that WWF did not materialize. I suspect they may have pursued ECW first since it was a quicker and cheaper deal prior to, or shortly after, the non-renewal of WCW. imo.
