If they deliberately suppressed their positions, I certainly disapprove. On the other hand, if their positions were available for anyone who wanted to go beyond posters (which by the way, generally do not contain platforms, only pictures and names), their opponents and/or the local press were to blame for not publicizing their positions. I rarely get detailed position papers from local candidates of either party, especially during primaries when budgets are limited, and rely on the papers for most such information.
