Gerle Gold receives favourable Doyle Lake judgment Gerle Gold Ltd GGL Shares issued 22,411,858 Feb 25 close $0.40 Thu 25 Feb 99 News Release Mr. Raymond Hrkac reports Further to news in Stockwatch Feb. 15, 1999 regarding the judicial review of the assistant deputy minister's Section 84 ruling of Nov. 20, 1997, the judgment was granted on Feb. 24, 1999 in favour of the company. The judgment reads as follows: It is hereby ordered that: 1) This application for judicial review is granted; and 2) The following relief is granted: i) the decision of the assistant deputy minister dated Nov. 20, 1997 is set aside and the decision of the supervising mining recorder dated May 10, 1997 is restored, unless or until it is reversed as a result of another ministerial review; ii) the matter is remitted for redetermination by the Minister of the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development or her delegate, other than James Moore, the assistant deputy minister who conducted the review that has been the subject of this application; and iii) the review is to be conducted and the regulations interpreted in accordance with the reasons that I have given for my decision.
