Freeus, you should be able to sell a "cash secured put". This does not require the use of margin, but the cash will be sequestered. If I were you I would give them a call now to get the ball rolling. The point is, do not be premature in dealing with your short call position. Time is on your side -- take advantage of the time premium. The other point to consider is that the bid/ask spread in options is outrageous, and the fewer times you give the market makers that spread the better. TTFN, CTC
