(now exactly why? dunno) dailynews.yahoo.com NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stocks fell late afternoon Wednesday as the yield on the benchmark 30-year Treasury bond jumped to levels not seen since late summer. ''It's all about the bond-market,'' said Bill Meehan, chief market analyst at Cantor Fitzgerald. ''The bond broke and stocks fell sharply.'' The Dow was off 69 points at 9475, falling from its 56 point gain earlier in the day. The technology-laden Nasdaq Composite was off 2 points at 2374, giving up its 29-point gain.
