FTRK and MarketMakers and much more... It seems to me that there is only one thing that is going to keep the mm's (I won't put it in capital letters any more because they don't deserve it) in line and that is constant and consistent demand for stock. Maybe some of you more seasoned traders can respond but isn't it true that mm's are in new territory too. With the power of the internet just coming into its own, doesn't the possibility exist where we can keep mm's in line. I know a lot of you will shake your heads and laugh at this statement but think about it - trading groups that work in concert with each other and have the power to overcome the mm's ability to drive the price down. We need to level the playing field - legally of course. With all the information available to us that mm's have, we have to determine how can we take advantage of it. We are at the beginning of a new frontier in investing and trading and all the rules haven't been written yet, they are still just beginning to be thought of. I am a relatively small investor but intend to become larger. These boards that all of us post on are the beginnings of what I am talking about. Sharing of information and resources, discussions and understanding all make us better investors and traders and as a result maybe we would not be easily shaken by a mm trying to push our stock down. Take this thought down the road a little ways and we may find that mm's would be afraid of us -collectively, I mean. Just my thoughts but I've been wanting to state them for awhile. Jeff
