I thought it was breaking back up into the mid 30s, hopefully this setbackis only temporary. It is kind of frustarting that it dropped so much... I guess we'll have to hope for a bounce tomorrow.

You must be new to investing in COMS. Welcome to the Rodney Dangerfield of networking. I held COMS for over 3 years (buying right around the time after the USRX merger at around 40), finally got disgusted with the stock and bailed out at 48 earlier this year (one of my rare timeley exits from a stock). During the time I held the stock, I would buy puts after any strong run-up (for insurance), and guess what: the puts always made money for me since COMS often tanked.

Buying puts is the only way to consistently make money on this stock. I bought some 32.5 puts for a buck yestreday (and was beginning to doubt myself as the stock was over 35 this morning, but true to form it tanked more than the market).

I continue to believe that COMS is a great company with great products well-managed, and great value (at these levels - i.e., if value really means anything in this market). They are one of the few companies that have demonstrated the ability to effectively compete with Intel (NICs) and MSFT (Palmpilot) and CSCO (off course).

But given the Street's lack of respect it is tough to make money off this stock. Everytime it appears that they are out of the woods, uncertainties arise. I have my money in ASND for the long haul.

Regards

Alok

<I am utterly amazed how damned weak this stupid stock is!>

For those of you who are sick to the stomach about the recent weakness of coms I have to point out it's due to coms' odd reporting period. Coms drops this month due to earning scare since it is going to report next month. Last month this time it was still $48.

Most other stocks will have their earning warning periods in March.

if coms has no warning by March 8 or 9, we should be ok.
