Ahh, yes. Thanks. I'd missed that bit about Hughes buying Primestar: cbs.marketwatch.com As to why folks would want to pay for AOL as a value-added service. I don't know, but there are folks on this board who do just that. I have DSL and get all I need from the internet, so I see no need for AOL's private-network stuff, but there are many who would be lost without AOL chats. (But I do use Netcenter at the moment as my browser home page even though I rarely open a browser to that page and when I do, it's only for a few seconds.)
