We should be quite close to bottoming out. Maybe we'll see upper 8's, but that should be it. I believe that the current levels are a good opportunity to get back in, as the stock price is suffering from the view that LGND will not turn profitable in 1999, with the bad news on the diabetes front. Cherly Galt had a theory the other day, which sounds very plausible to me; that profitability by the end of 1999 is an artificial and unnecessary target, thus impacting investor sentiment more negatively than it should with the latest news.

The warrants are a better play at the current levels IMHO. So I have put my money where my mouth is, just before the close today.
