Waldemar,
Russia's basic problems could not be solved with $ 50 Billion.
Y2K is just a scratch in there financial gulch.
Until there realization that Yeltsin is rapidly sinking and the alternate is back to communism, money just gets flushed down the sewers still in the street.
I spent too many years behind the curtain and in front of the curtain.
The people are great, but no common sense or logic. It is not permitted in a Communist Society
