What you report makes sense.

There was some doubt expressed about route at their Toronto meeting. It was also mentioned there was a creek to be crossed.
However, I still can't see sense in running small rig. They already have a great core for display and suspect their interest is on further drilling not showbiz at this point.

Have you heard when they expect to have road access complete?
