Hey, somebody has got to blow the whistle. These threads are deteriorating into a joke. People are chasing tickers with no company behind them. Some may be laughing at this but apparently there are others who are not. Look, experienced traders know that it doesn't take much to spike a low float penny stock. They come in with maybe $10k to $50k to play around with. They start adding a pulse to a dormant stock and then, through a newsletter or spamming the message boards, they hype it up with rumors or statements like 'It's on fire!!!' to draw in a few gullable souls. Then the traders move in and start watching the bids/asks and help push it even more. If it's timed appropriately at the end of the day or early morning, the clever traders will take their profit and move on to the next hype-job. It's all very amusing from the side-lines but it is disgusting to see these threads ignore some real quality plays that are out there. I've noticed that momentum is slipping away from companies that do have some breakthrough news. PLPT had some really nice news today and even tiny MSHE looks very promising but they are unable to sustain their momentum because traders are predominating the volume and playing a hit-and-run game. This is not cool and I'm staying more in cash until the trading sentiment starts returning to value plays.
