My guess is general withdrawal from the Sector/Market. DO is large enough to support funds, so if they get gun shy and build cash, then larger caps are going to show it. But why not SLB/HAL/RIG?

Intraday shows DO down $1 at 10am, while the market was in good shape until late afternoon. Most of what I follow in the OSX was down, but not to the extent of DO. I'd say they were about to preannounce, if it was that time of the quarter.
