>If you hadn't notice Hong Kong is now part of mainland China....

Did you read the following sentence in my post ? "Please note that Hongkong is just a very small part of China" . From that sentence how can you come to conclusion that I didn't "notice Hong Kong is now part of mainland China" ?

I specifically used bold face on "mainland". That's how people IN china distinguish Hongkong/Taiwain and the rest of China. I though you know that. Go back and ask your "Chinese wife" to explain to you.

Again I pointed out you were wrong and again, as I expected, you don't have the courage to admit it even when it is obvious that you were wrong !

I can understand that you don't know the meaning of "mainland". But even if that's the case, just from the fact that a Hongkong company owns majority share and China Telecom owns minority shares in a Hongkong telecom company, how can you jump to conclusion that this Hongkong telecom company controls China's wireless and cable business (again you should know that Hongkong is just a very small part of China) ???

Again anyone who claims to know China telecom market should know this basic fact: Foreign, Hongkong, Taiwain (yes they are part of China) companies are not allowed to own majority shares in a company that "operates" telecom business in mainland China.

Please, learn some basic facts before pretending you know China's telecom business.
